Representatives from the Bitcoin Association Slovenia (https://bitcoin.si) embarked on this exciting journey, connecting with the Bitcoin community, non-profit organizations, industry leaders, and engaging in discussions that would shape the future of Bitcoin in Slovenia and worldwide.
Making Connections with Bitcoin Enthusiasts
The conference kicked off with a buzz of excitement. Attendees eagerly gathered to explore the latest developments in the world of Bitcoin. Our president from the Bitcoin Association Slovenia was no exception, as he immers himself in this vibrant atmosphere. He was thrilled to connect with fellow “Bitcoin plebs”, the endearing term used for grassroots Bitcoin enthusiasts, who share a passion for digital currency and decentralized finance.
Collaborating with Non-Profit Organizations
One of the remarkable aspects of PlanB Conference 2023 was the convergence of non-profit organizations dedicated to advancing the Bitcoin space. He had the privilege of engaging in enlightening conversations with these organizations, sharing insights, and discussing the collective mission of promoting financial sovereignty through Bitcoin. We had the honor of sharing ideas and experiences, deepening our commitment to the Bitcoin movement.
As the days progressed, the conference saw a wealth of technical discussions and brainstorming sessions. Developers, miners, and industry leaders from various Bitcoin-related companies convened to explore the latest innovations and challenges in this space. These interactions proved invaluable, expanding our knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
One of the most exciting aspects of the conference was the opportunity to connect with representatives from Slovenian companies, such as NiceHash, NAKA, bolt.observer etc. They are doing a great job developing Bitcoin payment systems and many other things around Bitcoin and LN in Slovenia. Together, we discussed ambitious plans for the future of the Slovenian Bitcoin community. These discussions centered around fostering adoption, increasing awareness, educating people about Bitcoin and collaborating on projects that would propel Slovenia into a Bitcoin-friendly nation.
As the PlanB Conference 2023 came to a close, we left Lugano with a sense of fulfillment, new friendships, and a clear vision for the future of Bitcoin in Slovenia.
